LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this workshop you should feel more confident in your ability to:

1. Schedule students depending on many factors (age, skill level, individual/group, etc)
2. Integrate documentation into your daily schedule
3. Recognize the red flags of a high caseload and how to advocate for yourself and other colleagues
4. Feel organized when treatment planning with examples of both paper and digital formats to use
5. Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers and parents with resources to utilize
6. Be more confident in documenting with examples provided of various goal areas, treatment notes, an OT evaluation summary written in an IEP, and more.
7. Know the differences when to use common school-based assistive technology/adaptive equipment with students
8. Complete a school-based therapy session with 2 mock sessions provided from both an OT and COTA
9. Manage burnout and difficult cases with personal experience provided, managing last minute to-do lists, and more.
